THE JAGUAR | SOCIAL ASPECTS

The Jaguar Amazon REDD Project supports local communities through various activities.
The “Sustainable Use of Brazil Nut Trees Project”, partners 40 local families in the collection of Brazil nuts greatly improving the revenues of the collecting families and the local economy.

Also, the “Vegetable Charcoal Production Project”, avoids deforestation through the conversion of hardwood residues into vegetable charcoal and its distribution to nearby villages and the “Ecotourism Project”, helps in the preservation of the forest and prioritizes local employment.
